Marianas Trench is a pop rock Canadian band. In 2024 they released their 6th studio album Haven. During their 2025 leg of the tour they have decided to give fans access to their official snapchat account to promote the fan experience I was given access to the account on October 5th, 2025.
When contacted with this opportunity I decided to make a graphic to add to my contributions to the account.

I had never tried to design for a social media platform like this before so i started this piece the wrong size and having to tailor the graphic for snapchat specifically instead of more short form content based social media.
The first focus for the project was to create something that felt related to the band itself. Their newest album has a paper craft style inspired by popup books so I knew I would replicate that in my piece. Looking at the album art I decided I wanted to only show one season to keep the video from feeling overwhelming. but my color pallet is from the album art with assets made by me.

Hi, I'm Samm! I'm in my final semester at Bowling Green State University as a graphic design major. I specialize in editorial, advertising and brand design. I've enjoyed learning about color, typography, and the Adobe Creative Cloud, throughout my time at BGSU. I'm looking for jobs after I graduate and to fill out my portfolio in the meantime.
Outside of design work I also dabble in digital, traditional, musical, and fiber arts. I utilize these skills in creating a distinct brand for myself as someone expressive through any one piece of work.
